Things that have to be there

These make the shop work and cannot be switched off. They are stored in your own browser and are never sent to anyone else.

• Your basket — what you have added, so it survives a page refresh.
• Your cookie choice — so you are not asked on every page.
• Sign-in — only if you sign in to view your orders.
• Stripe — sets its own cookies on its payment page to prevent fraud.

Counting visits

We count page views so we can tell whether anyone is finding the shop. This uses no cookie and stores nothing that identifies you. The reference it records is a one-way hash that changes every day and cannot be turned back into an IP address — so it cannot follow you from one day to the next, or anywhere off this site. That is why it is not something you are asked to consent to.

Changing your mind

Clearing this site's data in your browser settings removes your saved choice, and the banner will ask again on your next visit. Your browser can also block cookies for every site, though that will stop the basket working here and on most other shops.
